The Admissions Process

Step 1: Call Us. When you call (209) 692-3981, you will speak with a compassionate admissions counselor who listens first and asks questions second. We want to understand your situation, your concerns, and any cultural or family considerations that matter to you.

Step 2: Insurance Verification. Our team will verify your insurance benefits within hours, often within minutes. We accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare, Humana, MultiPlan, Oscar Health, and United Healthcare. If you are uninsured or underinsured, we will discuss alternative payment options with you.

Step 3: Clinical Assessment. A licensed clinician conducts a confidential assessment to determine the appropriate level of care, whether that is medical detox, residential treatment, outpatient, or dual diagnosis programming. This assessment accounts for your medical history, substance use history, mental health needs, and personal preferences.

Step 4: Arrival & Welcome. On your arrival day, our staff greets you warmly, walks you through the facility, introduces you to your peer mentor, and helps you settle into your private room. We ask about dietary needs, spiritual practices, and language preferences so that your environment feels respectful and familiar from the very first hour.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does treatment last at MNDT Rehab?

It really depends on you and your needs. Medical detox typically lasts 3 to 7 days, residential treatment runs 30 to 90 days, and our outpatient programs range from 2 to 12 weeks. Your clinical team will work with you to find the right length of stay, and you will never feel rushed out before you are ready.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare, Humana, MultiPlan, Oscar Health, and United Healthcare. If you are not sure about your coverage, just call us at (209) 692-3981 and we will check your benefits for you right over the phone. It only takes a few minutes.

Is detox medically supervised?

Absolutely. Our detox program is supervised by physicians and nurses around the clock. We use medication-assisted treatment when appropriate to keep you as comfortable and safe as possible during withdrawal. You will never go through it alone.

Can my family be involved in my treatment?

We encourage it. Family restoration is at the center of our mission. We offer weekly family counseling sessions, scheduled visitation on weekends, and regular communication with your loved ones. We know that healing the people around you is just as important as healing yourself.

Do you accommodate different cultural or religious practices?

Yes, and this is something we take very seriously. Our chapel and interfaith space welcome all spiritual traditions. Our kitchen accommodates dietary needs including halal, kosher, vegetarian, and other preferences. Several of our clinicians are bilingual, and we arrange interpreters when needed. Your culture is part of your recovery, not separate from it.

What happens after I complete treatment?

You will leave with a personalized aftercare plan that includes ongoing outpatient support, peer mentorship connections, alumni group meetings, and referrals to community resources in the Orange area. We stay connected with our alumni because recovery does not end at discharge.

Can I continue working or attending school during outpatient treatment?

Yes. Our outpatient and intensive outpatient programs are designed with flexible scheduling so you can maintain your job, education, or family responsibilities. We offer evening and weekend sessions to fit your life.

What if I am nervous about entering treatment?

That is completely normal, and you are not alone in feeling that way. Our admissions team talks with people every day who feel the same anxiety. When you call us, there is no pressure and no judgment. We just listen, answer your questions, and help you figure out the next step whenever you are ready.
